About Hingham Leisure - who are we and what's our mission?

Rectory Farm is run by brothers Richard and Chris Dunnett, who have deep roots in the local area and a longstanding connection to Hingham and its surrounding countryside.

Since 2006, we have carefully developed the farm with a clear vision: to create a peaceful, thoughtfully designed retreat where guests can slow down, reconnect with nature, and enjoy the best of the Norfolk landscape.

Every improvement we make is guided by two priorities — exceptional guest experience and protecting the wildlife that makes this place so special. The result is a campsite that balances comfort, simplicity, and a genuine sense of escape.

We are always looking for ways to improve Rectory Farm, both for our guests and for the wildlife that shares it with us.

Over this decade, we aim to plant 10,000 trees, using tree and hedgerow grant schemes to create wildlife corridors across the land and help reconnect natural habitats. We have also introduced self-seeded wild areas, allowing native grasses and wildflowers to establish naturally and support birds, insects, and pollinators.

The lakes and surrounding landscape regularly attract a wide variety of birdlife, including wetland species that visit from the Broads, which is something we are proud to help support.

We want Rectory Farm to keep improving year after year, while making sure we care properly for the landscape around us.
